Kazım Öz’ün yönettiği belgesel film Son Mevsim: Şavaklar (Demsala Dawi: Sewaxan), 14 Mayıs 2010’da Tiglon Film dağıtımıyla Yapım 13 tarafından vizyona çıkarılıyor.
Fransız ARTE televizyonunun ve Jan Vrijman Fonu’nun katkılarıyla gerçekleştirilen ve çekimleri bir yıl süren Son Mevsim: Şavaklar, göçebe Şavak topluluğunun yok olmaya yüz tutmuş yaşam tarzlarının, doğayla bağlarının ve kıyasıya mücadelelerinin yanı sıra insani ilişkilerini belgeliyor. Hayvancılıkla geçinen Şavaklar kışları Pertek ve Çemişgezek bölgelerinde yaşıyorlar.
Son Mevsim: Şavaklar belgeselinin çekimleri Şubat 2007 ile Agustos 2008 arasında yaklaşık 19 aylık bir sürede 7-8 kişilik bir ekip tarafından gerçekleştirildi.
Uzun süren yapım öncesi çalışmaların ve araştırmaların sonunda, belgesel ekibi Dersim cografyasının dört mevsimini ve göçerlik hayatını Şavaklı bir aile ile birlikte yaşayarak belgeledi.
Çekimler başta Pertek ve köyleri olmak üzere göçerleri takiple Ovacık ve Munzur dağlarının çeşitli bölgelerinde yapıldı.
